I have an Intel Wireless 2011 Lan PC Card and a D-Link DI-614+ WAP. I am not able to configure the two to work together. I have them on the same channel, say ESSID number. They are both 802.11b and 2.4GHz. The encryption level is the same. My business partner has the same set up at his house and it works fine. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Thanks!

Setting up WEP encryption keys on dissaparate products like that is notoriously difficuclt. Try them both without WEP enabled first to make sure they'll even talk to each other at all. If so, you know WEP is the culprit. If not, well, you've got bigger issues!

The D-Link DI-614+ is a full NAT broadband router with a DHCP server. Have you checked the DHCP LAN service is set on. Also that the connection properties for the wireless card are set to get an IP address and DNS addresses automatically. Also ensure any firewalls are disabled whilst you get communications working. As Eric said, disable WEP whilst you are getting the basics working.
What else is connected on your network that may be a factor ?
How far do you get with the configuration. Do you get any error messages ?
Post back please.
