here what I have:

ROOM A: a cable modem
a wireless router
a pc (D)

ROOM B: a pc with wirless and outlet network (E)
a pc (F)
a router

WHY: doing this way to avoid install longer ethernet cable from one room to an other as from one floor to two floors down.

MY GOAL: pc F should be enabled dmz to public network

SETTING the modem hooked to the wireless router's WAN
the wirelss router hooked up with pc D and pc E as LAN
pc E hooked up with the router that hooked with pc F

PrOBLEMS: 1) lack of understanding of setting up ip address, default gateway, subnet mask on all routers and pcs
2) "pc E hooked up with the [router's]" outlet of WAN or LAN?

thanks

If you are trying to build a wireless network that span two floors with wired networks, then you might consider using the a wireless bridge. It is typically used to connect a "disconnected" wired LAN through the wireless network.
