Does anyone know how I can disable the wireless zero config in windows XP and still use 802.1x authentication such as PEAP. I am running a RADIUS server to authenticate my users. My building is shared with other companies so sometimes my cliens pc get confused and do not hook up to my WAPs. If I could force XP to a specific SSID with authentication I would have a lot less stress around the building :) I understand that Win 2K3 Svr has a GPO to do this, but the migration to a 2K3 AD is not planned for another 6 months or so. Thanks in advance...

First ensure you have your SSID set to broadcast and set it as the preferred SSID. Also disable 'connect to non-preferred networks'.
