Hi, I've had wireless for a while and I'm still a newb. When I turn on any of my computers, there are like 4 wireless networks and mine. Sometimes not even mine.:( . Then when I actually DO connect, sometimes the net wont work or is incredibily slow. And even worse, Now i get a ip conflict error from windows. I have a password on my network, JSYK. If anythin, can someone else tell me how to make my comptuers connect to my wireless and only my wireless. Thanks

Some things that may help.

- Put your SSID as the preferred network in your wireless settings.
- Select not to connect to non preferred networks. And select APs only.
- Use encryption and MAC authentication to prevent others connecting to your network.
- Leave SSID broadcast on in your AP.
- Download Netstumbler to find the other networks and note the channels they are using. Set your AP to its own channel as far from the others as possible.
