How can I see who is on the wireless network? Taino718 08-31-2004, 02:45 AM Hi, Using another person's network is against the law. The other wireless networks that you see may have WEP off, however, you won't be able to join their network. Make sure your network is protected by enabeling WEP or WPA. You can also find information at Netstrumbler.com or many other Wifi sites. If you recognize a neighbor's network give them a call and tell them to enable WEP. There are many free hot spots where you can enter for free and use the internet. Use google to find hot spot sites. Thanks Bill Taino718 09-14-2004, 01:44 AM Hi, If you have enable WEP, WPA or MAC filtering you are safe. Any two will do well. Most users can see other networks but do not have the skills to connect to your network. To keep your network safe turn off the router or modem at night. Keep your virus and firewall up to date. Hope this helps. lybush 10-01-2004, 07:32 PM There is a 'free' program called "TCPNV.EXE" that will show each connection to a network and certain information about each connection. It is a very small program and works very well. Hope this helps. Len billgeo 10-01-2004, 07:34 PM Thanks! I'll check it out.
