Which USB Wifi adapter to get?

I'm trying to figure out which USB adapter to buy. I'd like one that's reliable and inexpensive, of course, but the main issue for me is the antenna. I need the signal to be as functional as possible over long distances. I'd thus like to get one that already has a great antenna, and hopfully one that would let me replace the antenna with a different cheap/homemade one if necessary. Much thanks for your advice.

Hi,

Forget using an USB adapter they are slow. Better to get an access point (Linksys WAP54G or D-Link DWL-7100AP). You can change the antenna if you like. But why? Check out other post concerning antennas. The benefits are not so great.
