Hi all!

I am currently using dial up for my internet connection! Friends are advising me to switch to broadband!

What should I consider when choosing the right and reliable ISP?
What must I compare between the different broadband plans that the ISPs are offering?

hee.. thank you for reply!

Shaun ;)

Hi Shaun

The first thing to consider is price. I.E What do you get for your money, such as speed, also check if you can send outgoing mail from your ISP, does the ISP support SMTP mail.

The second thing to think about is what speed do you actually want. 250mbps, 512 or if it is in Australia homes yet 1mb.

I have 512mbps for about £20 per month, and it has a download limit of 1gb per month which is suitable for my home use.

So check if the ISP you are considering has a download limit.

Thats really about it, if you want any more advice on such a thing then please feel free to mail me or send another message.

Best Regards

David
