We have hi-speed DSL which runs to a wireless netgear 54 Mbps 11g router. When the wireless router is plugged in, the DSL slows to a crawl, and we can run almost nothing on the second computer with a wireless card. The primary computer is hardwired to the wireless router, since they're in the same room, thereby avoiding buying another wireless card. Are there some setups I should be doing differently to speed up the internet? Our local phone company can't seem to help.

Thanks in advance.

Welcomt to the Network Forum.

If your Internet connection has its normal speed when the Wireless Computer is off, and by switching it On and using your Wireless the Wired computer start to crawl on the Internet.

First Optimized both computers to max DSL setting.

If it Does not Help then something is probably wrong with the Wireless cable/DSL Router.
