Router -> XP -> ME

I have an XP computer connected to a single port router and the XP computer has 2 NIC. One connected to the router and another connected to the WinME comp. Is it possible for the XP to share the internet conncetion for WinME??

router 10.1.1.1
XP 10.1.1.3 and 192.168.0.2
WinME 192.168.0.4

in XP --> router -p add 192.168.0.4 mask 255.255.255.255 192.168.0.2

The reason that I don't want to get a hub/switch is because NIC only cost $20 and a switch cost $200.

You can enable a "bridge" through XP, but a switch is only $20 for a 4 to 8 port 10/100 unit. Not sure where you are finding ones for $200, unless you are looking at the gigabit models.
