Ignoring Other Wireless Networks

Ok, I have my wireless set up with all the security measures. However, it seems someone close by also has a wireless set up and my laptop will disconnect from my wireless and then tell me there are more than 1 wireless networks available to connect to. Is there any way I could configure the XP Pro laptop so that it doesn't see the other signal?
