Phoneline & wireless networks

I have a phoneline network and am planning on switching over to a wireless network. However, I work on other people's computers at home and would like to retain the ability to connect them up to the internet through my phoneline pci card installed on my server computer and a usb phoneline adapter connected to the "guest" computer. I have two questions:

1. Are there any hardware compatibility issues in keeping the phoneline pci card plugged in the server computer and also having the server computer connected up to a wireless router?

2. If I wanted to link up the "guest" computer to my wireless network (presumably that would run faster), how would I do so?
