1. Open Internet explorer.
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options
3. On the connections tab, click 'Never dial a connection', and then click LAN settings.
4. In automatic configuration, clear the 'automatically detect settings' and 'use automatic configuration script' checkboxes.
5. In proxy server, clear the 'Use a proxy server' checkbox.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
1. Computer A connected to port on router using network card (example Linksys router)
2. Router is connected to DSL modem by lwan port using a network card
3. Does Computer A has 2 network cards (network card & wifi card)?
3. Computer B with network card (wifi)
Is this your setup?
Proper Settings
1. Connect DSL modem to telephone line
2. Connect router (wireless) to DSL modem (use wan port)
3. Set router to assign DHCP ip addresses automatically
3. Connect computer A to router port using network card
4. Connect computer B to router port using wireless card
5. Log on to router 192.168.1.1
6. Enter password and user name to establish DSL connection, save
7. Go to control panel, select network connections
8. Under LAN or High Speed-Internet you should see an icon for a wireless network connection and a local area connection
9. If you don't see the icons then you must install the drivers for the wire card and wireless card (please note Windows usually recognizes new hardware)
10. If you need to install drivers, reboot and windows will configure cards for you
11. Go back to control panel, network connections and look for the two icons as before
12. If they are present select local area connection first and check settings
13. use mouse to right click properties, select, stroll down to internet protocal TCP/IP and click it
14. Selct properties (Internet Protocal TCP/IP
15. select Obtain an IP address automatically
16. Do the same for the wifi wireless card
17. Save all and reboot system
18. Don't forget to set WEP security
19. Next posting
Hope this helps you........
