Buffalo Wireless PCI card installation problem

I am trying to install a Buffalo wireless PCI card in an old Compaq computer (PII-350). Unfortunately, the computer will not boot after installing card (computer works fine after removing the card). I've updated the motherboard bios to the latest version, tried using different pci slots, and removed all other pci devices (except video card), all to no avail. If anyone knows of a way around this I would appreciate hearing about it.

That's strictly a hardware issue that might be better served by contacting either Compaq (now HP) or Buffalo directly. There may be some PCI settings at the system BIOS level that might help.
