I have a Sony Vaio Notebook with integrated 802.11b/g wireless LAN.
I never used the wireless connection because I am using wired cable modem at home to get on the internet.
Last weekend I brought my Sony to my friend's house. He has wireless router, so I tried my wireless connnection. But I cannot get on the internet. My Sony wireless connection status box says "wireless connection enabled" and "signal strength: excellent". However, when I opened the Internet Explorer to get on the internet, no connection can be established.
Any suggestions what may be wrong?
Thank you
