New to Wireless networking. Need some help please

Hello all,

I am new to wireless networking. I have been able to get the network up and running fine. Took some time to work out most of the bugs.

Still one bug I can't work out.

I have a dlink DI-514 wireless roughter/hub, dlink 520ce wireless cards.

DSl bellsouth modem.

Running on windows xp pro.

Using Sygate Firewall. Disabled it to trouble shoot this problem.

Now the problem is this.

I can't get my email from any mail service.

If I connect straight to the dsl modem and buy pass the wireless network I can get the mail.

Any ideas?

Hello all,

I did some searching at dlink and found the proplem to be mtu setting.

I had to bump it back to 1492.

Works great now.
