Please help me! I am try to install a linksys wireless router to share a broadband connection between a windows xp (main) and windows 98 1st edition.
The router installed no problem on the xp, but the problems started with the windows98. I was told that possibly that the wireless router is not compatible with windows 98 1st edition, Is this correct? Is there a possibility I can use this? Please help if you can. I no computer wiz so alot of these terms are foreign to me. I kinda thought this was a no brainer but it turning out to be awfull!! Please help!!!

Damn!! Still nothing. Thanks for the help! I appreciate it. I'm sure it helped me to clear up the uneeded clutter. I'm still stuck with the the win98 pc that wont connect to the XP. I'm sure I have the XP setup right but I just can't seem to get the 98 correct!! Anybody else have any ideas? tyia
