I'm having issues getting a WPC54G Wireless NIC (Linksys) to connect and properly comminicate with a Linksys WRT54G router...

The router is currently working fine for another wireless connection on the network however I can't get a second connection to properly work...

The second NIC has been installed and seems to be working fine (has worked on another network)... it can detect the network fine and can connect with excellent signal strength... however this is where everything stops working... The software for the nic says that it is communicating with the router however no packets are being sent back and I can't even get DHCP from the router so I end up with a ARP address...

I've checked the WEP authetication and everything looks ok but I think there could be a setting on the router preventing me from fully communicating with it...

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated! THANKS!

Doesn't this NIC have a Linksys utility program that needs to be running ?

well, i don't think that there is a compatibility issue between those two devices,
by the way i want to know these information:
*what is your operating system?
*what is the ip address that is getting by the computer?
*do you have another wireless client/computer?:)
