I've had a wireless setup running in an Apt. Bldg now for about 2 wks, but seem to consistently be losing connection in the evening hours... anywhere from 5 - 11pm. Not always, but usually. Except for the occasional brief drop, I have connectivity the rest of the day.

Is this a classic case of some kind of 2.4 Ghz phone interference, or perhaps another device (TV?). Surely it couldn't be someone constantly using a phone, since you would think I would be able to re-establish connection at least for brief periods.

My setup right now is the SMC 2804 WBR, and a D-LINK DWL-AG520. (I got the AG520 because it had a moveable antenna on a 4 ft. cable).

Line of sight, it is running about 30 ft., at a diagonal, through 2 walls and a thick Apt. hallway floor (1st floor -> opp. side of 2nd floor).

The only thing I can think of are microwaves. When the microwave is on, my WiFi goes through the floor.
