I just got a second computer in my home and I am trying to set up a home network in XP. I bought a Netgear WGR614v2 wireless router. I was able to connect the 2nd computer to the Internet without much problem. However, in tyrying to set up the home network through the XP Network Setup Wizard so I can share files and access the printers attached to my desktop from my laptop I keep on getting the same Spooler SubsystemApp error each time when I try to set up the network on the base computer.

Has anyone encountered this problem? If so, please help.

The "base" computer may have a bad print driver. There are some KB articles on Microsoft's site as to some suggested registry repairs, but you might just be better off disabling/uninstalling the printer driver(s).

The wizard is not needed in most cases. The following "sticky" will take you through the manual setup.
