slow speeds with Linksys BEFSX41

installed the router and cloned my PC's mac address (PC is running Win2kpro) everthing seems to be working, but web browsing is very slow and download speed are even slower! I am using 600k ntl broadband - I did a speed test at www.adslguide.org.uk here's what I found:

with router
download speed 130kbps
upload speed 117kbps

without the router
download speed 574kbps
upload speed 119kbps

any ideas? also is there a forum for Linksys somewhere on the web?

I don't know anything that could cause that on a cable connection.

Maybe a call to Linksys is best.

Sorry to hear you're having problems with the BEFSX41! I've got one and I'm getting speeds on Optimum Online up to about 9 megabits down and 1 megabit up.

What firmware are you using? Have you done anything special with your configuration?
