Word Problem

Hey guys, i have a question. I had a word document, 7 pages of all typing, on a floppy disk. I saved it for the night, then came back this morning and opened it up and some of the document was there, but, there was 49 pages of code where the rest of the typing was. Box things, Y's with things over them and every kind of symbol that you can think of. Is there any way that i get the code back to typing?? ANY HELP APPRECIATED!

Sounds to me like corruption, especially if it was onto a floppy. Though Word does some queer things sometimes.

This may be a silly question, but did you see any of your regular text show up amongst the characters?

Try saving the doc to a simple text format and see what comes up.
