Yes - I'm a plonker I have reset my password and lost it. However, I can't seem to get the factory reset to work. I can't seem to reset it using the instructions in the manual which suggest powering up the router with the reset button depressed for 8 seconds. I have also tried powering up the router and then pressing the reset for 8 seconds.
I phoned UK technical support who suggested that I did a tftp firmware reset. However, they do not have the correct bin file for my model which is the 750,5435. I purchased my SMC 7004AWBR router in Singapore. I only have the dlf file 7004awbr_runtime_V141003.dlf.
Can anyone supply me with the correct bin file or tell me how to reset the router?
