Here's the setup:
WinXP Prof, Netgear RP614, XBox, Cable Modem
PC Connected to router, works fine! Can connect to the internet. I then connected my Xbox to my router, went to the router program->connected devices: here I can see that the only device connected is my PC, the XBox is not to be found. Whats up?
I installed gamespy tunnel, opened all the ports on the gamespy firewall page (using Norton firewall as well, haven't had any errors yet!)
After that I went into gamespy (tunnel installed!) wanted to play halo, ready, launch. I went to multiplayer->system link. The newly opened window in gamespy said: xbox connected, 2 packets, 0kb. The Xbox said looking for game and that was it, nothing happened. Tried NTSC and Pal versions of the game. No go, what am I doing wrong?
Why doesn't my router "see" my xbox? (yes it is switched on)
