New to Networking - help

I have network cards for my two pcs, and laptop, and an 8 port hub with auto uplink detection. there isn't a port for uplink. the plan is to network all 3 for file access and printer sharing. and hopefully multiplayer games across a network.

I don't know what to do to set up each one. obviously they are all connected together.
