Mapped drives disconnect automatically...

I have one Win98SE computer that disconnects a mapped drive to my Win98SE file server. If I try to access the mapped drive, the computer locks up and I must hit the power button to hard reboot it. Everything else works fine, such as network niehborhood. If I reconnect the mapped drive before attemting to access it, all works just fine.
I know all Win95 and Win98 machines automatically disconnect but they normally reconnect when you try to access the mapped drive.
Anyone have any ideas?:confused:
