Adding Wireless to corporate desktop

I am wondering if it is possible to add wireless access to my corporate NT4 workstation so that I can perform a wireless 802.11b sync with my new PDA. Specifically, would I use a wireless access point or a wireless router/switch combo? The corporate network sits behind a firewall and has intra/internet access. Would I need to configure a network address into the hardware? Would the corporate network be plugged into the switch along with my desktop or into the WLAN port? Thanks for any advice about this.

I would have to advise you not to do it because it creates a security risk into the LAN. Check with the network guys and they would configure it for you if they will allow it.
