Given a notebook machine with 2 PCCard slots, what are the options for getting greater network throughput than that which can be gotten with a single 100Mbps device?

The slots I'm referring to are 32-bit CardBus, of course, not 16-bit PCMCIA. The machine in question is running WinXP Prof.

Is there such a thing as Gbit network devices in this form facter? Is it possible to team/bond 2 100Mbps cards to form a single virtual connection?

Thanks.

they now have the gigabit cards out. I've seen them in local stores for desktops, Im sure they have the pc card versions also. You might have to get it online though. But to get the gigabit speed it is going to have to be connected a switch that is a gigabit switch, and also the other computers on the network would also have to have gigabit cards also. Don't know if that is what you were looking for. As far as piggyback the cards, I don't think that that is really possible, but I could be wrong, (nothing is really impossible with computers). Hope that helps.
