I'm running a Linksys BEFW11S4 with one wired client and two Linksys Wireless NIC's. I run 64-Bit WEP to have some security without the hard performance hit of 128-bit WEP.

I bought an Orinoco Gold NIC and I want to run it at 64-bit... the problem is that the client manager will only let me set a WEP password for 128-bit...

Help... how do I set 64-bit on this NIC? Is there another client manager other than the one that came with the NIC?

The length of the key determines the level of encryption.

Just enter the HEX values for your key... 5 pairs for 64-bit encryption... and off you go!

No additional mangement utilities needed...
