I am REALLY a newbie here - and after reading some of the posts I am sure this message will show that!
I have a HP wireless laptop that I have been trying to set up with my PC which is a Sony Vaio. I installed the MN500 base station, and I feel pretty sure it is correct. My problem is, after being on the phone for at least 1.5 hours with MSN support, I still cannot access a wireless internet connection. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the adapter MN520 twice, and still cannot get it to access the internet. One of my big problems is not being able to understand the techs that I have talked to, because they all have an accent and I have a hearing problem. Any suggestions on what I can do - and you have to talk really slowly and very plain for me to understand the terminology. :) I have also emailed support at MSN a couple of times but have not received any answers.

what kind of product do you have? Do you have a wireless router, wireless access point?

what kind of problems occur?

if possible, can you sent us the results of the ipconfig/all command in the command prompt?

Sorry, but I do not understand your question. What product are you needing to know that I have.
The IP config, when tech helped this afternoon was 192.168.2.20
The problem is getting internet accessed. I have accessed it a couple of times, verified that it was connected, but it never stays connected even a minute. The only way that I can get it to connect is to shut the laptop down, take the adapter out and reinsert, then reboot the laptop. But, it never stays on long.
