Linksys Router Lags every 40 seconds in Half life

I've recently installed a BEFW11s4-AT. Everything seemed to work fine until I tried playing Half Life (Counter strike actually) Every 40 seconds or so, it will lag for 3 seconds or so, and then it will sync back up. I've tried using a regular LAN cable to connect my laptop to it, as well as a wireless card, so I know the connection is not the problem. I have static IP's set up. I've been trying to debug this problem but have become stumped. Maybe this is just a problem with the router that can't be fixed, any info is greatly appreciated

hmmm you again.hehehehe like what i have told you under the general disc... this is a very complicated issue, as far as i know that your router which came from AT n T has only 3 tabs and there's no MTU capability for it. i would recommend try to contact AT n T and asked them if there is a new beta firmware that would resolve your problem.:D
