I am using a SMC Barricade 7004ABR router and cannot seem to access my work Lotus Server. I am running the Notes client on a laptop which is connected into my home network via the Barricade. This router is also connected to a cable modem, which is my internet access. I have 'DMZ'ed the IP address of the laptop in the Admin settings for the Barricade and have used Port Detective to verify that port 1352 is 'open'.
I can also ping the Lotus mail server from the laptop. However, whenever I run Notes to access the mail server, I get the message that the server is not responding. I have also used NPING which fails to connect to the server using port 1352.
When I use a dial-up connection (via ISDN) to my ISP, I can connect to the Notes server with no problem. Is there any setting(s) on the Barricade that I can use to solve this problem or am I stuck dialing via the ISDN modem?
Thanks in advance for any tips.
