Hi,
My problem is the following..
I have a lannet and shared the net with Linksys BEFSR41 to 3 computers.
The browsing, irc and the popular things are work fine.
I tried to play Aoe2 and connect beetwen 1 computer at home and an another computer on the net. It worked fine.
However, if i tried to connect beetwen 2 computers at home and an another computer on the net. It did not work.
Please help me, what was the problem

Your Linksys router is a NAT router which presents to the internet a single IP address for all your LAN PCs. So your two PCs on the LAN cannot present unique IPs to the game server. Some games allow you to select specific ports for connection and you might be able to connect the PCs with different ports - I don't know with Aoe. A fix may be to put one of the PCs in the Linksys DMZ - but only whilst you play the game, and note it is wide open on the internet during this time so disable all services on that PC other than TCP/IP.
I am not a gamer so I don't if that will solve your problem.
Good Luck.

:D Actually Greenstead you are perfectly right, because if sentinel70 is going to use 2 computers behind the router just to play AOE2, it's pretty much impossible, however sentinel70 to get that thing to work try to disable the DHCP and bypassing the NAT. you can do that by connecting your modem to the uplink port of your router and install an ICS software, in disabling the DHCP, just go to the LinkSys DHCP tab and disable the DHCP, ive tried this set-up on my Router and it actually worked great.:D

I too am using ta linksys cable/dsl router to connect all my pc's and playing aoe2 with no problem. Two things I had to do were to disable any firewall programs on the individual pc's and rely on the router for firewall protection. and 2, i had to use install ipx protocal on both pc's and use this option in aoe2 to connect. i then connect across my 100mbs side and am not limited by the 10mbs side of the connection at all.
