Hi!

I am trying to connect two pcs running winxp, each with an internal Broadcom iline10 HomePNA adapter. These two pcs can see each other on the network but will not grant access to each other. I have enabled sharing on the files and printer that is to be shared but they still can't connect.

I have created a network with the HomePNA as a crossover cable. I am wondering what type of protocol I should use.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

OK - I saw your post in Linksys thread. Post back in this thread if you need more help.

Check your HPNA connection first by checking each PC can ping the other with IP address.

Thank you very much for replying! YES! I tried the suggestions in the Linksys thread. And, I did ping the other machine. I am happy to say that I was able to print and share after applying your suggestions. All is well.

:D
