I am using WIndows 2000 Server. I am currently using ICS. I have not installed anything new, but a problem has arose. I had the same problem right after I initially installed ICS a few weeks ago. I can access the internet for very short periods of time. It will work for a few minutes, if that, and then cease working again. I cannot ping anything outside the network.

Only after I release/renew the adapter, does it start working again. The odd thing is that it tells me that the adapter connected to internet and being shared, is not bound to TCP/IP and so it doesn't release/renew that one. I don't know why it would fix the problem by releasing and renewing my adapter that is connected to the LAN.

I should clarify I am connected via cablemodem on one NIC and other NIC is to the uplink on switch.

My DNS servers are correct, it shows the correct IP, and I believe teh DHCP server is correct, not sure though.

I am not sure what to do. If you have any ideas, please let me know.
