I have the BEFW11S4 v. 3 router and a linksys Wireless PC card for my laptop. I've been unable to connect to the internet using the router. I have AOL DSL and use PPPoe to connect. I can get to the setup page but cannot connect and I have reset the router and have reinstalled everything but to nothing has fixed the problem.

What card do you have in your laptop? If it is the WPC11 Ver. 4 then you may have issues.
I am having the same issue and asked a similar question on another board, here is what on person told me...
“I'm sorry to hear that you got a version 4 WPC11. Linksys has sunk to their lowest point with this product. After years of having the top selling WLAN product in the WPC11 they decided to kill it by switching to a new (Realtek from Taiwan) chipset that isn't worth $0.001. It doesn't surprise me that Linksys is telling you that is doesn't work with XP (It probably doesn't work with anything). My suggestion is to take it back and try to get a version 3 (or previous) that uses an Intersil Prism chipset if you can find one. Also take a look at the version of your router. You want version 1.0 or 3.0 only.
