I have a Toshiba Laptop running XP Home with a Belkin Pcmcia 802.11b wireless card. It talks to a Gentoo linux box running HOSTAP with a 3COM PCI card. Everything was working fine until I shut down my laptop a few days ago. When I turned it on today I was no longer able to access the network. The LED on the Belkin card is solid if I run the Monitoring software by belkin or Network Stumbler it sees my AP, but I am unable to get an IP. I tried assgning an IP manually but it still shows 0.0.0.0 as the IP when I do ipconfig at the cmd window. Any ideas would be appreciated
