Starcraft over Wireless LAN

Any ideas why it wouldn't work?

My Wireless LAN works perfectly otherwise.


We were going to play some 4 way yesterday (2 laptops/2 desktops), but on the laptops we get the error, unable to join.

Played with reinstalling with different patch levels and in the end it just came down to having a wired Cat-5 cable instead of our wireless cards.

I just thought it was very odd.

what kind ap do you have, do you do any layer2 filtering of any protocols that might have interfered with your gaming?

It is a Linksys WAP 11.

Are you using UDP or IPX? If your using IPX, you need to install IPX/SPX. Try using UDP, if possible. I've had no problems with that.
