Belkin - used to be great

Hello,

Got one MS XP Pro with broadband connection and a Belkin Peer - to - peer USB device.

Got one Laptop with WiFI Belkin connection -

All worked great - - not now.

About once every three or fours minutes I lose the connection (the light starts flashing on the PCMCIA card). I reconnect using the Belkin Status icon - and immediately it find the connection and continues.

Tried repositioning the A end but this not helped. Turned of authentication and WEP this not helped.

The only new thing is that I have a new PC connected to the base unit via a cross-over.

Any ideas why I am losing the connection all of a sudden.

The new PC should not affect this of course. Ensure you have no network bridges appeared in Network Connections (delete them).

Do you have SP1 installed on XP. Also the latest Belkin drivers and firmware installed.
Update, and then use WEP.

Also try changing the wireless channel.
