Hello,

I've got a dual boot notebook (Win2K/Suse Linux) that I've setup to share the DSL connection of a PC running Win2K.

When the notebook runs Win2K all is right with the world.

However when I boot linux I am stumped as to how to configure networking. I've enabled DHCP but what IP address do I assign as the DHCP server. It's confusing since under Win2K I've configured DHCP and dynamic DNS. There is no check box for dynamic DNS under Suse Linux.

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

I dunno Linux. But I think you should try giving it the address of the gateway as the DHCP server. Same for its DNS server.
(Should be 192.168.0.1 if you're using ICS on the DSL PC).
