I have XP Home connected wirelessly to Linksys WAP and a G4 Mac wired to the router. What I would like to do is connect my laser printer that is connected to the XP box to the network so both computers can print to it. What is the best way to do this?
Thanx in advance.

well, ordinarily i would say you would have to do this:
1. Enable sharing on the printer by start menu > printers > printer properties (right click on printer) > sharing tab
2. Install the printer from the other machine.
However, since the other printer is a mac, i dont know how or even if this would work. You could buy a print server which allows you to connect the printer into a router, but they are expensive.
Hello Fazdi,
I hope you found an answer to your question. I am trying to do something very similar. I have a Dell PC and a Macintosh Powerbook connected to the Internet using a Linksys router. I would like to use the same HP printer (drivers installed on both).
Please let me know if you have had any success. Thank you much.
