This is my problem, and its driving me mad!!!!….I have connected 2 XP equiped PCs using 2 Belkin Wireless USB adapters. I used to run Zonealarm (free version) on my main PC, which is connected to an ASDL service. I had no problems accessing the net etc before I set-up the network, with Zonealarm in place. However, with the network up, I cannot use any network services with a third party firewall running the 2 PC’s will not communicate. I can still access the Internet from my ASDL equiped PC and If I turn the firewall off the problem gos away.
What am I doing wrong? I have tried the entire range of major software Firewalls with no success….How do set a Firewall to allow me to use the access the net and other services from my 2nd PC.
ps: The PCs will share files and games with the XP Firewall running, but i still can't share my ASDL connections with the 2nd PC, even though I have shared connection enabled.
Another ps: I installed the network using the XP wizard. I have not changed any settings (I'm a complete novice with networks).
