okay, i'll just start out by saying what i have done...
re-installed: DUN, NIC, Client for MS Networks
tried specifying IP address, manually assign gateway & DNS
tried DHCP
went through Internet Options and everthing seems okay there...except under CONNECTION|ADVANCED it had some weird http://proxycfg.netsetter.com shit, which i disabled and put to AUTO DETECT
all of this has done nothing...
problem: i cannot access any web pages or use any programs such as AIM ICQ IE
i am able to goto COMMAND and PING specific IP's, and even ping domains such as www.yahoo.com and get responses, but as soon as i try to access a web page via program like IE, i get the dreaded DNS error...
any ideas?
