Hi, I need to know how I can directly connect to another person's PC and to let them connect to mine. I can't make direct connections over AIM or get connections from friends in a game that uses IP to connect.

I have a P3-850 running WinXP Pro, a Motorola Surfboard cable modem, and a Linksys Etherfast BEFSR41 4-port (with 4-port switch) router.

In Windows XP you have the feature of Remote Dektop Sharing. For more on this read up this article (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;300698) on the Microsoft Support Site. Please note that this would only work if the other person also has Windows XP and is using the Remote Desktop on their end.
